Google now doing search for AOL. Wait AOL is still around?

So as I said on various webshows: I love and am fearful of Google at the same time.

They just finished a deal to provide search results on AOL Inc's websites in exchange for AOL delivering their video content to YouTube. It's a five year deal and it's just one more notch in Googles bid to takeover the world.

You might ask what sites does AOL have for Google to deliver search on? I asked the same thing. Well it turns out a lot of times you're using aol when you don't even know you are. They, as the article pointed out, have sites on cellphones and other gadgets.

I just get wearing of massive companies (Google brings in about 2 million dollars a month!) getting more massive. Right?

Also Myspace is currently using Google search (on a month to month basis) while they figure out whether or not to bow to the all mighty.

I think I might start using good ol altavista for awhile.

Wait .. what other search engines are out there? Ask jeeves?

Sony is making an iTunes competitor for PS3 & PSP

Sony, so late to the game. Sony iTunes like service (it has no name yet) will have music and video subscription. The device that will have these service when it launches will be PS3 & PSP. There is also mentions of Bravia TVs, mobile phones, Vaio computers and Sony's Ericsson phones that will have it down the road. Next year is the expected date. I'll try the service but I don't even use iTunes to buy music and video, actually I really only buy games.
