Post a Comment Here's a short interview that David Spark (of the Spark Minute, among other things) did with me.
Here's a video I made from my brothers band Small Colony.
Make sure it's full screen.
I'm going to take a name I had reserved for a website/webshow ... and i'm using it for Kevin and I's new band. Kevin and I's?
Drum Roll.....
Bring The Robot! <-- link to artist page on allofusarefamous.com
I realized i have too many webshows already, so I don't need to use that name for another one. PLUS its a really bad ass band name. AND i have the dotcom as well.
So there tis .. new band = Bring The Robot.
Also - origin of the name? Was walking in downtown Seattle and a semi-crazy lookin guy came out of a nearby alleyway yelling. He was looking towards the sky and shouting "well bring the robot then! bring it!!"
oh and no this isnt our new logo. although that WOULD be bad ass. It's from some science tshirt website.
seriously -- Teens In Tech is a great event and i'm very happy for Daniel for its success. I would have loved an event like this when I was a small nerd/geek and i'm jazzed that it exists.
Remember people - these young whipper snappers are creating tomorrow. Well, that sounded way too corny. Ok, let's just say teens are hella smart. And they are gonna do some amazing things so keep an eye out.
Oh and got an amazing little gift basket - bag from rickshaw, water bottle from vapur (which is rad), a speaker for portable devices/gonna use for my netbook, and a really cool hand crank charger device.
I'll leave you with some bites I got from Sam Levin and Michael Butler (music producer over at Mevio).
